SC Education Community
The SC Education Program is fortunate to have many talented and dedicated individuals in both teaching and organizing the content of the SC Education Program itself, as well as attending and participating in the program. This diverse group of individuals includes undergraduate and graduate faculty, undergraduate and graduate students, high school faculty, and information technology staff. The group includes members of 2- and 4-year colleges, liberal arts colleges, Ph.D.-granting institutions, minority serving institutions (MSIs), EPSCoR schools, and high schools across the United States and extending into several other countries.
Members of SC Education also represents a wide breadth of academic disciplines, including the typical high performance computing-oriented fields like science, technology, engineering, and math (the STEM areas), as well as the humanities, arts, and social sciences (the HASS areas). Many also collaborate in cross-disciplinary education and research projects.
All of these individuals have one common element: a motivation for sustained change in high performance computing education. As a community, they work together to continue bringing both new technology and new teaching methods to existing and new classrooms.
